Welcome to my Healing Space.
Hello! I'm Malynda Ruth, a body language expert who has honed the ability to understand the subtle cues that reveal so much about what others feel and think. My love for the science of nonverbal communication led me to a fulfilling twenty-year career as a professor of communication, where I taught the fascinating language of the body. Yet, I always sensed there was more I could offer.
Realizing I needed deeper tools to effectively aid in healing, I embarked on a personal and professional journey to expand my skills. This adventure connected my mind and body, deepening my understanding of how we process and store trauma.
I explored various healing modalities including traditional therapy, shamanic practices, silent Vipassana retreats, and somatic healing. I furthered my education with a specialization in Trauma-Informed Somatic Therapy, accredited by the American Psychological Association, and I became a Reiki Master Teacher. This journey was not just about professional growth; it also helped me navigate personal challenges, such as overcoming religious trauma from my childhood and embracing my LGBTQ+ identity after a long heterosexual marriage.
Today, I bring this wealth of experience into my practice, dedicated to helping others on their paths to healing. I am here to guide you to listen to your body, reclaim your truth, and live authentically. It’s a journey of self-discovery and transformation that I am deeply passionate about, and I feel honored to support my clients as they discover and embrace their true selves.
Let's embark on this journey toward wholeness together. Trust the process and honor your sacred self.
